Welcome to BIOPHAM

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree BIOPHAM is a two-year master programme entirely taught in English. It aims at meeting an international demand for qualified graduates with theoretical and applied high-level training in materials science and physics of materials and their applications to pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals. BIOPHAM was built by a consortium of four acknowledged European Universities and benefits from the involvement of a very large international network of companies, large scale facilities and associated Universities.

Special session for self-funded applicants

Are you interested in joining the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme BIOPHAM as a self-funded student?

Join us for an online presentation on Thursday, April 2nd, at 8:30 a.m. (France local time) to discover the BIOPHAM programme, its structure, its opportunities, and what it is like to study within this international consortium.

This special session is intended for self-funded applicants to the second call for applications for BIOPHAM Cohort 5 2026–2028, which will open on April 3rd.

Although described as self-funded, BIOPHAM students in this category are in fact partially funded, 
since the programme covers all registration fees, provides full insurance, and supports participation in major programme events.

The event will also include testimonials from current and former BIOPHAM students:  Inés (Spain, Cohort 4), Ali (Pakistan, Cohort 4) and Noëlle (France, Cohort 2) who will share their experiences in the programme and give you first-hand insight into student life in BIOPHAM.
